- About Me:
- Hi! My name is Leanne aka "SKYLA" and I currently dance for TK SPIN, a South East London based, street dance crew. I have been performing with them for just over 4 months. I have competed in and won several competions around the UK, including the 2007 UK Street Dance championships. I trained at Barbara Speakes Stage Workshop for 8 years in Modern, Tap and Jazz dance, I also have experience in African and contemporary dance and I am currently studying Dance and Media Culture at Kingston University.
I also choreograph and perform with DYNASTY; an all female street dance crew based in West London. (For more information and/or booking please contact me)
I would describe my style as sexy, fluid yet powerful and confident. I try to incorparate my broad knowledge of different styles of dance into my freestyle and choreography to produce something new and original and I aim to show that female street dancers can and are just as strong as the guys! All in all, I love to dance and enjoy inspiring other to love it too!
